Foods were served after 20 minutes. We ordered liempo, adobong pusit, grilled bangus, pork sisig and grilled chicken. For the dessert, we ordered 4 halo halo. The adobong pusit and grilled chicken tasted great. The halo- halo reminded me of the halo-halo 45 years ago in Makati. The staff were customer friendly. The place looks orderly and clean . Better ambiance than restaurants that I have been to in the state. The only restaurant where you can hear conversations mostly in Tagalog. Reminds me of HOME. We arrived 10 minutes after 4pm (opens at 4pm) or 5pm). The place gets busy quickly. Staff are mixed nationalities I believe . There was only one staff that spoke Tagalog. He was very accommodating and customer friendly. We had exceptional experience during our dine -in. A good place to hang-out after a 7-hour drive.

My recommendation is if you get five stars in food service in atmosphere, then you’ll get the elusive six star! @googleservices could that happen? We drive through here every day we eat the restaurants and the prices reflect family meals, not individual meals. Remember that the food was great. The customer service was great. Even the random talking with other guests was awesome. The only thing that could top it off was if there was a karaoke playing because I would’ve stayed there longer. Keep up the good work and I’ll be there again. Always ask the waiter or waitress for the local specials and make sure you get your cup of rice.

Absolutely worth the drive if you’re craving authentic Filipino food here in Houston. The atmosphere is warm, lively, and very welcomingβ€”one of those places that makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. The food was outstanding from start to finish. The crispy pata was the star of the table: perfectly crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside, and incredibly aromatic. The grilled squid was absolutely fantasticβ€”smoky, juicy, and cooked just right. And the pork barbecue skewers were so good they had us speechless. A special thank you to Liz, who made us feel right at home with her genuine hospitality and attentive service. She truly gave us that Southern-style β€œmake yourself at home” feeling that Houstonians appreciate. Houston is blessed with amazing food from all over the world, and Gerry’s Grill is definitely one of the gems. We’re already looking forward to coming back, and hopefully next time we can enjoy the live band as well. Highly recommend to anyone in Houston looking for delicious Filipino food and a welcoming atmosphere. Five stars all the way!

Came here for the first time with my wife. We ordered the Crispy Pata, Kare Kareng Lechon Kawali, Sizzling Pork Sisig w/ Egg, Pancit Bihon w/ Crispy Pork, 2 serving sides of Garlic Rice, and for dessert, a HaloHalo. Everything was super delicious and flavorful. The lechon and pata had great texture. A small portion of the pata was a little dry, but overall, tender and juicy. Pata was lightly seasoned so dipping it in the shoyu sauce is recommended. The Kare Kare was perfect and the Halo Halo was refreshing. The staff are very friendly. Lots of tables to dine at and lots of parking. This is a huge restaurant with a stage where they have scheduled live music entertainment. They have a full bar as well with a pretty good selection of liquor. To be honest, probably the fancier Filipino restaurant that I’ve ever eaten in lol. They have a small private room area that can be reserved for parties. The food came out so fast and made fresh. We’ll be back whenever we’re in this area again.

I had a great experience at Gerry’s Grill. The food was authentic Filipino and full of flavor. I ordered a variety of dishes, including a grilled chicken leg with a nice charred flavor, a separate beef dish that was tender and well-seasoned, fried rice, crab, and pork. Everything was cooked well and tasted amazing. You can really tell they stay true to Filipino flavors, and every dish came out fresh and satisfying. Overall, it was a very good mealβ€”honestly, very, very good food. I’ll definitely be coming back.
